PREP TIME: 15-20 mins
MAKES: approximately 1.5 kilos of super charged nutrition power for your pup. You can store the mix in the fridge or freezer then add in the supplements when you serve (see method).
Follow these easy, step-by-step directions (in the ‘method’ tab below) to create your puppy’s super charged brekkie.
Healthy home feeding has never been easier.
This is a great breakfast to feed your puppy 2-3 times a week.
Use only high quality, pure, wholegrain oats. Not instant or processed oats.
FROM YOUR PANTRY, STORE OR BUTCHER:
- 1.5 cups (120g) wholegrain, organic oats (or quinoa, millet, barley)
- 500- 700g of fresh minced lamb (or chicken preferably free range, chemical free)
- 1 lamb heart (chopped)
- 3 cups of hot water
- 1/3 cup (50g) Blueberries (squashed)
- 2-3 tbsps coconut or natural kefir
- 2 tbsps flaxseed oil or freshly ground flax meal
- 1 tspn chia seeds
YOU’LL NEED FROM US:
- ‘Miracle’ Greens either 130g or 300g packet
- ‘Magic’ Golds either 130g or 300g packet
- 1-2 tsp of your dog’s choice of healing supplement (upon serving). Try our Puppy Power Formula for a supercharged boost!
Follow this quick and easy step by step guide to make a 4 kilo batch of food. Store some in the fridge and any remainder in the freezer if you don’t need it all that week.
STEP 1 – MAKE PORRIDGE BASE
Combine in to a large bowl oats and hot water to make porridge base. Add mince and offal and mix through
STEP 2 – ADD BLUEBERRIES AND MAGIC GOLDS
Add squashed blueberries (important to not serve whole) and our nourishing Magic Golds. Mix through.
STEP 3 – TO SERVE – WARM & ADD MORE BERRIES & GOLDS & KEFIR
Whether from the fridge or fresh from making batch, slightly warm mix with hot water by pouring over and mixing well.
Add additional blueberries and Magic Golds and kefir, fold through.
STEP 4 – ADD IN HEALING SUPPLEMENTS TO DOG’S BOWL
When you are ready to serve, add in your chosen healing supplement from our Medible Formulas or PURE range to the bowl for your dogs needs.
In this case we have added in our Puppy Power Formula for River & Romeo.
Sprinkle with chia seeds and serve with love.
STEP 5 – MOISTEN WITH WATER OR BROTH
Mix in a dash of warm water or broth to moisten. Mmm mmm!
